    Touch Screen Not Working

I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 7.0 SM-T217S. A few days ago I noticed someone plugged it into a non-Samsung charger. It wasn't charging properly (charging one second, not charging the next, then charging again, etc). I then plugged it into the Samsung charger that came with the tablet. Now the touch screen won't work at all. The power, volume, and home buttons all work just fine.

Here's what I've tried so far:
    -A soft reset
-Removed the battery for a few hours
    -Replacing the screen digitizer
    -A hard factory reset

After all that I still have the same issue. I'm letting the battery run out fully and then trying a trickle charge, but I don't have a lot of hope. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum

Though using a different charger "normally" isn't a big problem it does sound like something in the charging circuit is fried or caused a problem with the main board. Wish I had a better answer.

Thanks. That's what I was worried about. Is there a way for me to run a diagnostic on it to see if that's the issue? I'm probably going to take it to the Sprint store to have them look at it, but since I've already removed the battery and replaced the screen digitizer I'm pretty sure I've voided my warranty. No biggie, but if there's anything I can do on my own first I'd like to try.

No diagnostic I am aware of, sorry.

Another useful tip to fix the issue is to knock the touch screen. It sounds like a child's play but this means is tested by many users already. So you can try to knock on every corner of the touch screen gently for a few times. This would help to connect the digitizer cable to the device tightly.
you'd better develop a good habit of backing up all your messages. It can greatly reduce the possibility of losing messages in your daily life. And the action of backing up seems to be much easier than restoring.
