Email Folders
How do I add extra folders to the generic emai on my Galaxy Tab3l? Can't seem to find anything that is relevant. One forum somewhere said something about a + button but I can't find that either.

Welcome to the forum Graepam. If you're using the native email app, just tap the menu and tap "create a folder," that's it!

Thanks, but I must be doing something wrong. When I hit the menu button I only get to choose from View Mode, Sort by, Delete all, Font size, Settings and Help.
Am I trying from the wrong place within the native email?

Sorry about that Graepam, I'm using a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014, I guess it could be configured differently on the Tab3. Maybe a Tab 3 user will come along and help you out! I'm almost sure there has to be a way of doing it on your device.

Is your mail client set up as POP or is it IMAP?

Thanks anyway. Client is set up as pop. I'm also having a problem with that setup too. Recieving emails no probs, but not able to send.

There may be a way to have the folders if you were set up as IMAP, which is the preferred setup on mobile devices. As for the sending there is usually a specific port and type of security that needs to be used on mobile devices. Getting the mail is typically not a problem. Do a search for your provider's name using SMTP settings in the search.

Leeshor brings up a good point that I hadn't thought of. I am set up as IMAP, you might want to reconfigure yours, there are advantages to doing so on mobile devices, and creating folders could very well be one of them!
