Dropping WiFi
Bought my wife a tab 4 after she dropped a (probably) 1st generation and smashed the screen. Instead of getting it repaired, I thought I'd upgrade.
All was well for a couple of weeks and then it started dropping connection. The icon bar along the top would still show the wifi connection but the browser, app or what ever showed it had disconnected. It's been back to Samsung twice but they couldn't replicate the problem and just sent it back. Any ideas as I'm getting sod all help from Samsung at the moment but I'm taking things further. Knew I should have spent a bit more and bought a Sony.
So far I've carried out a factorty reset, reset my router and tried different channels/frequency on the router.
One of the Ssmsung agents let slip that the Tab 4 has a known issue with dropping connection with a cuple of different routers but mine wasn't one of them.
