    Galaxy Tab S 10.5

    Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Messaging Stopped Working

    Hi,
    As soon as turn on my Tab S 10.5 I receive a notification that messaging has stopped working. I then get it again two more times with 10 seconds of each other.
    I have checked and there are no software updates to install. I have a couple of messages from EE but can't really read them as messaging stops and isn't available for me to read.

    Has anyone else experienced this problem? Can anyone suggest a solution.

    I'm new to this forum and registered to see if anyone can help.

    Welcome to the forum Bobik

    I'm not really sure where or what messaging but I do have a suggestion. Go to the apps manager in settings, scroll to all and find the Google Services Framework. Tap it and clear the cache, force stop and restart your tablet.

    If that doesn't work it may be an app you installed and you can try basically the same thing if you see anything there with the word messaging in it.

    If Leeshor's advice doesn't get the problem solved (I think it should, mind you) , then you could try the Factory Reset option from settings - it might seem drastic, but it should work.
