    How To Cold Boot Tablet

Could someone please tell me how to cold boot my Galaxy Tab S. I don't want to lose any data, just clear the cache, ram etc. On my Asus Prime I would power down and on power up hold down the power and volume down buttons. Is this the same? The only thing I have been able to find is how to wipe everything and restore to factory condition.

Yesterday during a Google search I got a scam antivirus add that locked up my browser that took quite a while to clear. I was scared to try holding power and volume down buttons on power up for fear of doing a factory reset and losing all my data.

    Thanks.

Sorry for your issues. Had it been the Prime I could have told you how but you already know that. Maybe someone else with a GTab can help.

Thanks. I used Kies to backup my tablet. Hopefully I'll be covered in the future if there's a problem.
