Tab S: Video Playback Error Seen In Two Stores

I've played with the TAB S at both John Lewis, and at PC World.
I played the built in example videos which looked very good of course but they kept pausing, and the stop pause play 'keys' showed occasionally.
It was as thoug the screen was being touched randomly whilst playing.
I questioned the sales staff but of course they had no idea and had never seen it before.

Could be a dodgy touch screen .. but on two devices at separate stores, both doing exactly the same?
It wasn't a wifi problem becasuse they were not streaming from the net.

I would have bought one and still thinking about it but this is offputting.
Any thoughts anyone?
