[SOLVED] Unable to Install from Amazon App Store, or Sideload, Even Though Enabled

This happened all of a sudden. I have been updating a few sideloaded apps since December and now for some unknown reason the "install" button on the installation dialog is enabled but unclickable. Same thing with Amazon apps. Anybody out there have this problem? Anybody got a fix? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Jeffrey, have you tried rebooting or reinstalling the Amazon app?

I have rebooted, but I have not reinstalled the Amazon app. It's not just the Amazon apps, but I tried to update an app that I usually update by downloading the apk from a server and I get non-funtional "Install" button as well. Play apps upate and install as usual with no problems. Thanks for the quick response.

Downloaded APKs can be a no go for updating. They come with a signature that tells the system what the source is. It may work if the app is compatible by first uninstalling the original app.

Copy Bubble clipboard manager was the problem. Uninstalled it and the install button is available. Seems to have an overlay to keep its bubble on screen.
