    Question browser limitations

Hello all, I purchased this tab 2 knowing the limitations but hoping to be able to circumvent them. Issues being the work I do uses a program based on internet explorer. They do not intend to change this, and I had hoped to use the tab in my shop instead of a laptop. Ease of use and comfortability is what it boils down to.

Is ther a wqy around this? If I root the device will I be able to do what I had hoped?

Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

    MP

Sorry, rooting will not solve your issue.

Jeffrey is correct, rooting won't do a thing for you. You could remote into a system that has IE on it if an Android browser just won't work. Or, you could install Onlive Desktop which would give you a working copy of Windows 7 on your tablet, including IE. There is still no way to know if even that would work.

If you have the Google Store installed, a search would bring this up. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...51bGwsMSwyLDNd

Just worth saying that with the range of browsers that are available on Android, it might be worth trying quite a few to see if any of them do work. The link in my signature gives quite a few options & a lot of general guidance on the subject.

Another option is to look at Splashtop on the Play Store which would enable you to log into your PC remotely & then use the version of IE on it...
