Has anyone ran into an issue where the battery wont charge to 100%? Mine seems to get stuck in the 90s and never gets passsed that.

No. Mine goes to 100, at least according to the icon. Sounds like maybe another reason to return. Sure seems to be a lot of flaws showing up in initial production.

It sounds to me like your meter is TOO accurate. The li batteries never truly hit 100% unless they can be bump charged , more like 98% for safety reasons. When they state they are at 0% in reality it's more like 4%.
Try letting the Tab drop down until runs low enough on battery power to shut itself off then let it charge overnight.
It sounds like the meter calibration is off.
    Maybe this will help.

Could also be the cable. I had the 3 foot that came with it and I bought 2 6.5 foot ones someone in another thread on this board found on amazon. Could also be the plastic piece that thing is pretty crappy.

It was at 99 percent when I get home. Do you know if the battery is like the iphone 4 battery where it is ok to keep charging it (as opposed to old school batteries where you should actually let the device run out of juice before charging to conserve battery lfe).

Also what happens when the battery dies or wont hold charge. Will samsung replace it or is that the end of the tablet?
