Hi, just wondered if somebody could help me with syncing my emails to my tablet, they were auto syncing fine when I first got my tablet but now I have to manually sync it, can some help please? Thanks

Welcome to the forum Thom! You have your sync turned off. You need to go to Settings>Data usage, and check Mobile data. FYI - I keep my syn off to save on battery usage. I don't mind syncing manually, but to each his own!

    Welcome to the forum

I assume it's the default client. If so check in the settings to see if syncing was somehow turned off. If it's G-Mail you can find that by going to accounts - Google and taping on your E-Mail address at the top to see if there was an error or turned off.

There should be a checkbox or tap where is says it's disabled.

There's a tick box but its either sync disabled or master sync disabled, both of which don't allow auto syncing.

Unless or until someone else comes up with a better idea you may want to try a different mail client. Try installing MailDroid to see if it syncs. I assume since you mentioned syncing and not just send/receive that your mail is set up as IMAP not POP.

Not certain why or how you can't determine if you are using POP or IMAP. Was it you who set the mail up? If you just don;t remember look in the mail client settings.

I don't know what that information means or how to find it. None of the options available to me tell me whether its POP or IMAP.
