No Sound From Speakers - OK With Headphones
Galaxy Tab 10.1. I have no sound from speakers. OK on headphones. System sounds play OK from speakers, but when I view video or when listening to music, there's nothing - even with control turned fully up.
Anyone offer suggestions please?

I know it sounds obvious, but if you have the volume turned right down you still get system sounds but nothing else. Might be worth running the volume right down and then one step further to mute, then all the way back up again.

Thanks for the reply chesterdog. I found the bizarre answer last night. My PC was on and the tab sound came through this. Answer was Bluetooth was set up for headphone link on Tab. When corrected, all's fine. Strange the ways the simplest things appear so difficult. Good to keep in mind.

This exactly the problem I have. Music works fine with headphones not through the speakers. System sounds work fine, such as notifications, through the speakers.
Bluetooth is turned off.
Have tried turning music volume right down, and sound on / off and music back up, but still no music from speakers.
All advice appreciated !

Re: No Sound From Speakers - OK With Headphones
Try going to the Play store and look for volume apps, any that separate system volume from media alarm, etc should do and see if something isn't turned off.
As far as headphones working but not speaker, try blowing out the headphone jack.
Hope that helps
