Would like to be able to print from my Galaxy Tab 2

Have a Canon MX 712 printer - wireless - but do not see any apps. to make it usable with my Tab 2. Are there restrictions on which printers can be used?

    Welcome to the forum!

I had to re-title your thread, seems to be a bug with titles ending with "print" end up going to the printable view.

    Have a look here: http://www.galaxytabforums.net/forum...let-phone.html

It looks like PrinterShare has a driver for it (Canon MX710) and should work fine with the 712.

Ah, how wonderful but already cannot figure something out. I use a yahoo account with my Tab and the Chrome is have is signed in with a Gmail account. Am guessing those are the two that must be the same??? Not sure what to do to make that possible. Or perhaps am misunderstanding.....

Chrome needs to ID the same account as the one on your tablet. It doesn't even need to be running for the cloud print to work as Google loads a stub in memory that takes care of it.

Am unable to change account on Chrome (gmail account) to match the one on table (a yahoo account). Google says no accounts allowed with two user-names, so this is where I do not know what to do. Maybe I am misinterpreting "Chrome needing to ID same account".

You need a google ID in order to sign into chrome and use cloudprint. If you already have a google ID to use the Play Store, it should be the same one as that. Typically, it will be a gmail.com address, although you may be able to set one up using a yahoo, you just won't have a GMail account associated with it.
