Where is the Quick Launch Option on Settings<Display

Hello, I recently got a samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 and the screenshot button on the taskbar was there then I done the latest update and now there is no screenshot button. I have reseached it and websites have told me to either hold down home and the powerburron down or the power button and volume although neither of them worked so then it said go onto settings<display<quickluanch option so i can change the taskbar. But i cannot find the quick luanch option . Please help.

    Go to Setting - Display - General/Quick launch - Check/Tick Screen capture.

    You good to go

If no, try factory data reset

since the update to 411 all trace of quick start has disappeared.
I too want to recover the screen shot link.
if it can't be accessed off the menubar - how can we create a shortcut in the top bar?

    Welcome to the forum

You can always try this key combination for a screenshot - power button & vol down at the same time.

Screen Capture button restore for 4.1.1

"since the update to 4.1.1 all trace of quick start has disappeared.
I too want to recover the screen shot link."

The following suggestion didn't work for me:

"You can always try this key combination for a screenshot - power button & vol down at the same time."

Anyone else out there find a way to restore the screen capture button or have another way to get a screen capture?

It's the only way to do a screenshot now that we have the Jelly Bean update. It didn't work for me at first either because I wasn't holding them long enough. The power button and the volume down buttons need to be pressed simultaniously for one second for it to work. I was just pressing them and very quickly releasing, which didn't work.
