About LinkBacksI have a new galaxy tab 2. After the screen times out, I get contiuous ads about things I can do on my tablet. How do I turn that off? I would prefer the screen just blank out.

I haven't heard about that problem before. This is just a wild guess but have you used the Samsung Hub app yet. If not, use it, register with Samsung. Thanks for looking leeshore. Turns out it was the samsung screeesaver app. It runs a demo reel on screen timeouts. I just had to disable that.

Galaxy Tab Screen Saver App
When Samsung updated my system recently, I also got the "Screensaver App" (not requested but I got it anyway) and it was anything but a "saver". Running all the time it drained my battery in record time. Glad I found this post and turned that "sucker" off. Thanks. John

In settings, accounts, tap the Google account and make certain the admob option is unchecked.
