Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Keeps Corrupting SD Card

I have the 8GB wifi model and I am using a SanDisk Ultra 32GB MicroSD Card. So far I have seen this happen three times:

First, there were file folders that contained images and mp4 files that became corrupted (displayed the symbol before the truncated folder name). I copied what I could off of it, used a program to try and retrieve any other files I could, then put the card back in the tablet and reformatted the card. I copied files back on to the card and continued on.

Second, I noticed after a few days that a folder appeared out of nowhere and was corrupted (again the symbol before the truncated folder name).

Third, now it happened to a folder with mp4 files in it. No files are displayed when I enter the folder.

I tried Unmounting and mounting the SD card, and it did not resolve the issue.

What could be causing this to happen so often? Any theories or similar issues out there? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    I am currently running Android 4.2.2 on a GTP3113.

I think you may need to consider that you have a bad SD card.

Welcome to the Forum. Have you tried the SD card in another device?

Thanks, I hadn't considered that. I'll see about replacing it to verify.

I had the same issue with mine. Went from a 30mb/sec San Disk to a 40mb/sec PNY and the problem disappeared.
