    S-Pen vs Keyboard

I'm using the Adobe Reader app, and I'm grabbing the S-Pen before opening the document I'm working on so I can use it as a stylus. When I try to enter test into a given field, it opens up the S-Pen scratch pad. I want the keyboard. So the question is, with the S-Pen removed, is there a way to open up the keyboard for use?

There is a setting in the keyboard that you can turn off the ability to write with the S Pen...
