Galaxy Tab note 10.1 won't connect to the internet

    Hello
I have the above tablet, having restored it to factory settings I am unable to get onto the internet,
I have checked and double checked the password and that is correct.
On the first occasion I had a caption stating wrong password, the second time the caption stated network
authentication occurred, final on the third attempt the caption was network SSID required
Now on my Sky router I cannot find The SSID but there is a pin number together with the password
and a couple of bar codes could that be it? I know the router is Ok as I am able to connect to
    BT open zone .com 8443/WPB.
Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    jacsow

That's a confusing problem due to the different errors. You say the router is OK but what are you using for that login to BT?

For starters I would pull the plug on the router for 5 minutes, wait for it to fully power back up then restart your tablet. Go to the WiFi connections and long press that connection, tell it to forget and start over.

    Hello Leeshor,
Sorry for the late reply I have carried out your suggestion, the problems all I get time and time again is incorrect password.
I have done at least 3 restore to factory settings all to no avail.
When you say go to the wifi and long press I am not sure what connection you mean.
    Please advise thank you

When you say 3 factory restore settings I assume you mean your tablet. The problem didn't seem to me to be the tablet in the first place but rather your router configuration. You should go to a public hotspot to see if you can connect. If you can then the factory reset should be on the router not the tablet. The type of security on the router or the way the WiFi password was set up could both be a problem. If you follow the link in my signature it will take you to a page with ways to solve WiFi connection issues.
