    Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition WiFi Problem

    Hi all,
    This problem started a few nights ago.. but basically the WiFi will turn on and off nonstop. Fresh reset and it still cycles on and off.

    Welcome to the forum from someone who has a smoking avatar.

    Follow the link in my signature to my WiFi problems thread and see if something there helps. First thing to try is restarting your WiFi router.

    Thanks for the suggestion, however that was one of the first things I tried.
    Problem is though, it refuses to connect to ANY router. It will cycle on and off before it even attempts to connect to anything.

    Assuming you haven't installed (maybe) a security app that is getting in the way the only thing you can do to rule out hardware is do a factory reset. Make certain your media is backed up

    Good afternoon - this is my first post - hope done it right.

    I have the same problem with my samsung galaxy 10.1 note 2014 edition - disabling and enabling wifi: it worked fine at first, then started showing 'connected/disconnected' non stop, it would stay connected for 5-10 seconds or so and then disconnect on and off all the time. no way of using it.
    i checked wifi, works fine on phones, kindle, lap tops etc. - all other device (like smasung phone galaxy III, macbook air etc.) work just fine.
    I did full reset - still the same.
    I did restore to factory settings and this still did not fix the problem.
    I have restarted my table many times.
    I have rebooted router
    I have no antivirus or other apps

    Any idea is very welcome

    Welcome to the forum

    Because 5 devices work on the WiFi does not mean the 6th will work. First thing you need to try is connecting at a public hotspot to see if you experience the same problem.

    I now tried it out in different other wifi systems (office, friends) - but still it goes on and off (there is even no time to type the password of the wlan, so fast it goes off)

    In which case, given that it used to work & you have done all the various steps you have listed & it doesn't work in multiple locations I suggest you contact Samsung support as you may have a hardware issue...
