[SOLVED] Creating Desktop Shortcuts to Files

Is there a way to create a desktop shortcut to a file located on the device or the SD card? I have the ES File Explorer app on my S4, and the menu has a choice for sending to desktop. The same app on the 10.1 tab doesn't have that menu choice.

Strange, I have the 10.1 2014, and using ES, when long press a file and tap "more," it has "add to desktop" as an option. Are you sure that yours doesn't?
