How Are You Using/Going to Use Your Galaxy Tab 10.1?

Just like the title says, how do you use your tab?

Do you use it for work, school or just play? Does/will it leave your side? Take it on all your trips?

    We're curious, let us know!

I'm thinking this, combined with the new ADK is going to make a great carputer.

Well I plan to use it as a media device on the go. Can't really watch movies on my android and I don't feel like carrying around/whipping out the laptop all the time so this is the perfect solution.

Dick saw Robin as being a thrill. It's probably why he outgrew it.
Jason saw it as a game. It's probably what got him killed.
But...Tim...I have to hand it to the boy...He wants to be the world's greatest detective.
And from what I've seen so far...he will be someday. --Batman

I want to try to use it in the classroom (primary school teacher).

Hopefully it will remove my modelling books.

I'd also use it as a day to day diary

I have a presentation that I've been delivering on a Toshiba Libretto W100, which is a cool little machine, but which was a limited release, and I'm getting tired of explaining to my presentees that the platform I'm using isn't something they can actually go out and buy. I've slowly come to realize that I need to port my presentation over to a device that looks a lot like the very familiar iPad, but isn't.

The lack of a microSD card is the only thing that concerns me about the Galaxy 10.1, I'll have to read reviews when the device hits the street later this month to see what actual users think. I may wait around for the Toshiba Thrive now that they've announced a sale date of 7/10.

I bought the device to replace my portable PC when traveling for business. I'm having some starter issues with synchronizing my e-mail and I'm worried about not having an SD card reader in the tablet.

i use my tab (GIO P7510) mainly for content consumption - Reading, watching movies/TV shows, playing games and playing with photos

with photo i am having a lot of fun with photo lab and when coupled with SugarSync i almost have a EyeFi like solution - photos i take are automatically synced to my desktop PC so i can go out take pictures and when i get home they are all there, ready for me to edit/share

As a machinima film maker, i plan on shooting a movie using only the GIO tab just for giggles to see how the process/workflow might work

I play piano, and piano music books tend to be big and heavy, so I scanned a whole bunch of 'em into pdf files. So now I can just prop up my tab on the Kwai and page thru the screens! That's my excuse for buying one and I'm sticking with it
