Since Megaupload has been shut down, would you be able to re-up somewhere else? Thanks !

Hi G! This is Mike Apparition!
I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 and I asked for an update. It started and it is taking for ever the installation.
Can I restore my tablet or should I send it back to Samsung?
I hope you read this, my friend!

Friends, as I really am a dummy ;-) , I couldn't be sure about this instructions in order to proceed

I inderstood the link was changed since Megaupload is closed. Yesterday I downloaded the file and extracting it I couldn't find the files described. Is that the correct link or should the instructions be changed?

    2) extract the file
    you should have the following
a file called GT-P7510_USB_Driver_v1_3_2360_0-Escape - this file is the USB driver for your PC, if you don't have the driver installed already, run this
a folder named Odin3 v1.85 - this contains the ODIN executable file
    a folder named KME Odin - which contains 2 files - android_fastboot_emmc_full_p4_16G_32G.pit" and a "P7510XABKME_P7510UEKME_HOME.tar"

    Thanks in advance

since 3.1 is kinda old and obsoleted, might as well flash straight to 3.2

the bottom half of the instructions should be followed (get the links from the OP)

use this pit file - http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...9&d=1321486916

and use this for the PDA http://hotfile.com/dl/135008863/06ca....html?expire=1
if it asks you for Password for the 3,2 file use : sampro.pl

    update:
when resorting to odin and first booting up, you might get asked for a password, the way around this is to
    a) power off,
    b) press power n volume down until you get 2 icons left is recovery right is download.
    c) press volume down to select recovery icon then volume up to lock it, you should then see the recovery menu
    d) then use volume buttons until wipe data/factory reset is highlighted press power to do it
e)after its done wiping, select reboot n you should be ready

Mlst of the issues on this method not working is related to the proper usb drivers. If you want to try uninstalling reinstallimg the drivers.

Hi Anima, long time since your last post. I was travelling and couldn't retry the procedure. I did it now. Uninstalled the driver. Restarted windows. Installed again. Used Odin to make it twice in a single opening. First one with repartition checked and second one without it. Here are the messages:

I am running this step by step... and I continue to get stuck on boot.img for 45 minutes to an hour each time. This is really frustrating and I am lost as to what I can do now.

Tab also isn't allowing me to boot into recovery either. I enter the screen where I choose, move over to recovery and tap volume up - and it does nothing.

*scratch that. It took about 4 times, but it finally went*
