    Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

    Internet connection dropping out on phone and tablet

    My internet connection (via o2) - which is perfect on my ethernet-cable connected laptop - has today started dropping out every ten minutes or so on my wifi Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Huawei Android phone, especially when they are opened up again after being in standby. I'm assuming the issue is with the router (Technicolor). Might anyone have any suggestions? Most grateful.

    Welcome to the Forum. Have you tried rebooting your router? You may want to change the router's channel as well.

    Thanks to you both. I'll try everything suggested today and report back.

    EDIT: Having used the inSSIDer program suggested by o2, I've now changed the router's channel from 1 to 11. I'll see how it goes. Thanks again.
