Tablet Will Not Turn On... HELP
Ok. I've been reading troubleshooting ideas from everywhere but nothing works... He's my situation
1. I powered down my Galaxy 10.1 tablet and now it won't turn back on.
2. There is no charging logo when I plug it into the power outlet.
3. I have held down the power button for up to 3 minutes... nothing happens
4. I have held down the down volume and power buttons together for up to 3 minutes... nothing happens
This is what I've tried so far:
1. I downloaded the nvflash and correctly installed the "NVIDIA USB Boot-recovery driver for Mobile devices" driver. I verified it in the device manager. But when I enter the command "nvflash --bl bootloader.bin --go" I get an error message saying "Command send failed (usb write failed)" and the device disappears from the device manager.... Tried it a few times with the exact same result.
2. Then I installed ADB, SDK manager, and the Google USB driver. And extracted the IO stock recovery and the fastboot in the platform-tools folder. But that was completely pointless because I can't put my tablet in fastboot mode.
ANY suggestions?

hold the power button down until it turns on. worked for me when i had the same problem.
-
yeah, i sort of had a scare a while back. I just pressed it a few times, made sure the charger was on, held it down for about 20 seconds. Then all good
-
I had the exact same issue, turned out to be the charger i was trying to use wasn't 'juicy' enough, as soon as i plugged in the gen samsung one it started charging
-
If you can't get it going by holding it on indefinitely or trying the original charger, I would not waste any time in returning the device.

i assume you got into the nvflash mode - (with the galaxy OFF, hold power and volume UP) at the same time - here's a quick run down
Putting tablet in nvflash ADX mode
- Turn tablet off
- Hold vol up(right vol button) then hold power button at the same time for about 15 secs
NOTE: The screen will stay black the whole time
- After 15 sec let go of the buttons and plug the tab in to your pc
- Open device manager and look for APX Device listed with an error
- Right click on the APX device and Select 'Update driver software'
- Browse to whereever you placed your nvflash flies (mine is c:\nvflash\usbpcdriver) and make sure use sub folders is checked
- Select NVIDIA USB Boot-recovery driver for mobile devices
- Now in Device Manager under USB Controllers you should have an NVIDIA USB Boot-recovery driver for mobile devices
- open up a CMD window on your PC
- Run this command and you should get a black screen with white text at the top left. If you do not get this screen you need to restart above
nvflash --bl bootloader.bin --go
if you can see the text, then that means you were able to successfully get to ADX mode, so now we can install a recovery image
now back on your CMD command window, type the following
nvflash --resume --download 8 recovery-cwm_4.0.0.4-sam-tab-10.1.img
note the above image was included in the NVFLASH file - this restores your image back to 1.01 - once you install this you should be able to reboot back to an fresh new honeycomb tablet. Just go to SETTINGS - About Tablet to upgrade to 3.1

BlCk out
On the first day itself I encountered this problem. Tab refused to switch on.. Pressed the power button for long Nd it came on, hope it doesn't happen again. Is there any solution to fix this.

kind of a bump for i have encountered this problem myself. with galaxy tab 10.1.
adding to stuff op said, i found out that my tablet is locked and i wonder if there is any way to unlock it from so called "apx mode"? or maybe just flash locked one?
actually, any working way to fix it myself (i mean without going to service center) will work...
