Why do my incomming emails dissapear?

happened to me today too.

it seems to happen at every power off
short of moving email to trash prior to powering down, does anyone know how to avoid this problem?

Hello!
Every time I check my e-mail with my personal account all the older mails are automatically deleted. Of course I want to see the total list of received mails in order to work them up by hand later on. Who knows a solution? Thanks anyway!

I know the reason now. The e-mail program doesnot download the messages but is synchronising with the pop server. When the server is cleaned-up, so empty, the older messages are removed!
A really bad thing!

Hello. Go to your e-mail account on your PC. Search the screen SERVERS. Somewhere you can instruct the server to keep the messages for a number of days.
